A week or so before Christmas we travel to High Point, North Carolina to visit mom.
I just think tunnels, especially through mountains, are pretty cool.
We went to visit the Greensboro Science Center. It is a very cool place to visit, well worth an afternoon

| Penguins! |
It was a nice warm sunny day and nearly every animal outside was snoozing in a sunbeam, from the tiger to the pigmy hippos.

| Sand Cat ZZZZZ |
When we were here the previous year, the hippo on the right had only just been born.

I did do some specific short loops during the visit to capture historical markers.
I later found out that there are at least three markers for "Confederate Arms Factory" in High Point and the surrounding area.
In downtown High Point:
 |
| John Coltrane, genuine legend |
 |
| One of the plaques on the foreman |
On the way back home:

This marker is at a rest stop in Virginia on I77.
 |
| Blue Star Memorial Highway |
And farther north in a rest stop on I71 in Lebanon, Ohio. I actually do not think that the linked HMDB page is correct for this, the GPS coordinates are wrong.
